A desk. Not a mill.

  1. Someone writes the job

    Homeowner or builder. Contact, ZIP, trade, description, timing, optional budget and photos. Minnesota ZIP only.

  2. The desk calls

    We confirm it is a real person and a real site. Notes live on the job. Status moves from new to calling to verified — or spam.

  3. Three seats

    The software will not assign a fourth contractor. At launch we match by hand and paste a payment link. When you add checkout later, it uses this same cap.

  4. Release after pay

    Contact details stay on the desk until that contractor has paid and we mark the seat released.

What can wait without a rebuild

Contractor login, automatic match by trade and town, online purchase, unlock-after-pay, and auto-enforcing the three-buyer limit are all seats on records that already exist. The contractor row can grow a user account. The assignment row already has payment_link, payment_status, and released_at. Adding Stripe later fills those fields; it does not replace the tables.
